Terry Lynn Cook was born June 21, 1950 at home in Collins, Missouri to Jim Cook And Norma Sarratt Cook. He left this life on January 9, 2023 at Cox South in Springfield, with his daughter Kerri by his side.
Terry graduated from Weaubleau High School in 1969. He worked at R and S gas station with his brother and cousin. He started a feed business in the 80s and proceeded in the feed business for over 40 years. He retired at the age of 67. He worked for the Clinton Farmers Exchange until a week of him falling ill.
Terry’s years of hobbies included, racing, truck pulls, tractor pulls with sweat pea, and was in car shows with his 54 chevy pickup. He enjoyed going to the fire station and stoking the fire. He was part of AA since 1994 and was a sponsor to so many. Terry was a very avid storyteller. He loved sitting in his “man cave” with ol Wheezer and his cat Elton. He enjoyed many visitors stopping by his garage for long chats and story telling. He talked about the things important in life to his kids and grandkids.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents and brother Tiny.
Terry is survived by his wife Debbie Cook, Collins, daughters Kerri Herring, Bolivar, Jodi Cook, Collins, sister Donna McCarter, Collins, two nephews, Justen McCarter, Collins, Jeff Cook Columbia, his niece Samantha Cook Nebraska, and his six grandkids.
