Jackie L. Davis was born August 18, 1942 to Ira Davis and Helen (Simpson) Davis in Lowry City, Missouri. He passed away in Springfield, Missouri August 16, 2017.
He grew up in the Kansas City area and attended school there. Jack also started his career in car sales in the Kansas City area and eventually started working in the Lowry City area after he moved here. Jack moved to the area to be closer to family, which was very important to him.
Jack loved to spend time in the outdoors hunting and fishing. He was also able to combine his family time with the outdoors. He loved taking them hunting and fishing. Jack never met a stranger and loved the company of his many friends. He was loved by many.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ira Davis; mother, Helen Silvey; brother, Tony Ainsworth and a sister, Linda Swofford.
Jack is survived by 1 son, Jack Leo Davis and wife Brandy of Gravois Mills, Missouri; daughter, Jacqueline Rae Davis of Kansas City, Missouri; 6 grandchildren, Andrew Hibdon, Brandon Hibdon, Dylan Davis, Randal Rosenbaum, Reed Rosenbaum and Haeli Rosenbaum and 2 great-grandchildren; girlfriend of many years, Anita Pyle of Kansas City, Missouri; sister, Sue Gibbs and husband Dale of Osceola, Missouri along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
