Family suggest memorial contributions to the Wounded Warrior Project

James Robert Eastin, or what most people know him as Jim, was born July 8, 1965, to Robert Eastin and Ileene Eastin in Kansas City, Missouri. He passed away on July 21, 2022 and joined his dad up in Heaven.

Jim’s childhood was mostly spent with his family and friends in Osceola, Missouri. Growing up he created many fond memories he shared with those he loved. He graduated from Osceola High School in 1983.

After high school, Jim went to Missouri Southern State University where he played football and graduated in the police academy. Jim enlisted into the Army and graduated from bootcamp at Fort-Sill in Lawton, Oklahoma. He got married in 1988 and finished his service in the Army in 1990.

In 2000, Jim and his wife moved to Nixa, Missouri so they could raise their children close to family. His focus was on his walk with Christ and raising his daughters in the word of God.

Jim loved listening to sermon’s, posting scriptures of word on Facebook to help influence others, sharing pictures of snowy cabin sunsets and bears, and watching the Kansas City Chiefs play football, good or bad.

Jim was preceded in death by his dad Robert Eastin in 2012.

He is survived by his mother Ileene Eastin, two brothers: Timothy and John Eastin, and three daughters: Emily, Elizabeth, and Elayna Eastin.
