Travis P. Evans was born in Kansas City, Missouri on February 21, 1961, to Wilma Lorene McBride (Evans) and Jesse James Evans. He passed away at CenterPoint Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri on September 15, 2021, at age 60.
Travis Grew up in Creighton, MO. He lived the remainder of his life in Urich, MO where he was a fire-fighter, first responder and worked for the City of Urich for 22 years.
Travis was loved by many; he was always known to go above and beyond for everyone without hesitation or discrimination. The most important thing in Travis’s life was his family and loved ones. His kids and grandkids being at the top of that list. There wasn’t a thing he wouldn’t do for any of them. He really was one of a kind. An amazing son, brother, uncle, friend, father, and his favorite title, grandpa.
Travis was preceded in death by his mother Wilma, and his father Jesse.
He is survived by his kids, grandkids, four brothers: Jesse, Tony, Tom, and Rockey Evans and a baby sister Julie Evans (Garver).
Travis, you have left us with such wonderful, unforgettable memories that you have created a legacy that will now live on forever in the hearts and minds of every single soul that had the blessing to cross paths with you. Let’s not say goodbye today, instead, lets say you enjoy your vacation away from us and we will see you again soon.
