Fairchild, Claude F. November 3, 1934 - April 3, 2013

Claude Franklin Fairchild, age 78, was born November 3, 1934. He passed away April 3, 2013. On September 3, 1954 he was united in marriage to Shirley Ann Eason. They had two children, Charles Joseph Chadwick and Kelly Ann Chadwick. Claude loved them very much. They lived on a nice farm south east of El Dorado Springs, Missouri. Claude and Shirley milked dairy cows a few years and they also had lots of pigs and horses. He served in the Army in 1957, and then worked at the milk plant in El Dorado Springs for fifteen years, then 3M in Nevada, Missouri for twenty-eight years until he retired. Claude loved the Lord, he was saved and enjoyed going to church. He loved hunting with his fox hounds, fishing, gardening, and helping his wife with her flowers. Claude also loved spending time with friends and family, he was always happy and out going. He would help anyone in need. Claude was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley of fifty-seven years, and a brother, Bill. He is survived by his two children, Charles Joseph Fairchild and wife, Carla, and Kelly Ann and husband, David Loane; seven grandchildren, Kayla Lynn, Ashley Marie, and Blake Joseph Fairchild, and Sabrina, Bethany, Mary, and Clayton Loane; one sister, Marylin Catherine Fairchild; three nephews, Jerry, Norman and wife, Cindy, and Donnie; two great nephews, Chris and Mathew; two great nieces, Julie and Michelle; other relatives and many friends. Claude was a loving father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by all whom knew him and loved him.
