Kimberly Ann (Soldanels) Gerster was born to Ted P and Paula Soldanels on May 20, 1961 in Kansas City, MO and went to be with the Lord July 8, 2023 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO.

 

She was united in marriage to Lyle Dean Gerster July 24, 1993 and together they made their home in El Dorado Springs, MO.

 

Kimberly lived all her life in the state of Missouri including Independence, Lone Jack, Blue Springs, rural Rockville, and El Dorado Springs.

 

She is survived by her husband, Lyle Gerster, El Dorado Springs, MO. Her father, Ted P Soldanels Shelbyville, IN. Sisters, Christine (David) Fitzwater, Shelbyville, IN, Patricia (Terry) Sanchez, Grain Valley, MO, and Kalyne Soldanels, Columbus, IN. Brothers-in-law, Neal (Connie) Gerster, Walker, MO, Harvey Gerster, Schell City, MO, Gale (Linda) Gerster, Henryetta, OK, John (Kandy) Gerster, Nevada, MO, and James Gerster, Schell City, MO. Sisters-in-law, Beth Kemper, Nevada, MO, Paula (Randy) Corbin, Carl Junction, MO, Rita (Frank) Hecox, Joplin, MO, Mary (Gary) Kitsmiller, Nevada, MO, and Ruth Gerster, Schell City, MO. She is also, survived by many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

 

Kimberly was proceeded in death by her mother, Paula Sue Soldanels, brothers, James Soldanels and Ted G Soldanels, and sister, Karen Joy Soldanels.

 

Kim was blessed with many interests and talents. She had a fondness for her 3 cats and was also, hostess to many other cats that came her way. She was an expert with sewing and used her talent for creations of art for many donations and gifts to others.

 

She was a member of First Baptist Church of El Dorado Springs, MO where she and her husband sang in the choir and assisted in other activities at her church. Kimberly loved the Lord and was a faithful servant for Him.
