Lona Jean Gray Grogan “Grandma Jean” was born December 04, 1926 in Osceola, Missouri to Claude and Dolly (Mullins) Gray. She passed away at her home near Deepwater, Missouri surrounded by love and went to be with her Lord March 1, 2020.
Grandma Jean to all who met her never knew a stranger and loved to help everyone. She blessed this world with love, fun and orneriness for 93 years. She loved nature, car rides in the country and squirrel and bird watching. Spoiling children was her favorite past time and she loved smiles.
She was loved by so many and will be greatly missed. We know her message to everyone would be to “Keep Smilin”!
Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Dolly Gray; brothers, Blane, Zane and Jo Ed Gray; sisters Hilda Talamonte and Ila Dean Luther; husbands, Merle Todd, Ed Lowrie, Leroy Harper and Fay Grogan.
She is survived by sisters, Mary Gray Suiter, Nelda Gray Wood; brother, Bob Gray; daughter, Sharon Jean Todd Barket; grandchildren, S. Todd Barfield and Diana Jean Wilson; great grandchildren Alex Barfield, Anna Barfield, Elizabeth Rose-Park, Wesley Rose and Bradley Rose; great-great grandchildren, Adelyn, Aubrey, Judah, Noah, Ryut and Raya and also her dear friend Marion Angel.
