Hadsall, James Glen June 18, 1964 - March 13, 2021

James Glen Hadsall was born June 18, 1964 to Lawrence Eugene and June Marie (Vickers) Hadsall at the Marine Corp Air Station Naval Hospital in Cherry Point, North Carolina.  He passed away March 13, 2021 at the Community Springs Nursing Home in El Dorado Springs, Missouri.

He spent the first eleven years of his life at the Marine Corp Air Station.  After this he and his family moved to Osceola, Missouri where his father retired from the Marine Corp.  Glen attended grade school for a short time in public schools and was later home schooled by Miss June Marshall.  Glen graduated high school with his class of 1983 in Appleton City, Missouri.  Glen never married due to health problems.  He gave his life at a very young age and was baptized September 26, 1993 at Pape Christian Church in Tiffin, Missouri.

Glen loved his hobbies of music, western movies, reading, painting, his pets and spending time outdoors hunting and fishing.  He was a die hard Kansas City Chiefs fan or as his dad would put it, “Chiefettes” fan.  Glen was a huge fan of Nascar racing and especially car #24, Jeff Gordon.  He loved to play B-I-N-G-O while occupying his time at he nursing home.  If you caught up with Glen during B-I-N-G-O time, you found yourself waiting until it was over to capture his attention.  In Glens younger days his favorite game was jump checkers with his uncle Sonny Vickers.  He was fast to act when it came to helping others, no matter the chore.  He loved to argue with his good friends Steve and Sharon Schlichting when it came to Nascar racing and football games.  Glen loved to make bets on football games with his step-mom, Eva.  He always placed his bet on the chiefs, leaving Eva betting on the opponent.  If the Chiefs didn’t make it to the Superbowl he would bet on the team he thought would win.

Due to the pandemic Glen didn’t understand why he couldn’t attend church or why his minister, Steve Singleton, members of the church, family members and friends could not come into the nursing home.

He was preceded in death by his mother, June; grandparents, Glen L. and Helen M. Hadsall and Jim and Marie Vickers.

Glen is survived by his father, Larry and step-mother, Eva Hadsall; sister, Helen McDowell (Ron) of Fair Grove, Missouri; three step-siblings, Pamela Wharton of Ozark, Missouri, Anthony Roth (Jamie) of Osceola, Missouri and Bryan Roth (Betty) of Taberville, Missouri along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many friends.
