Alleen (Breshears) Harris was born in Fairfield, Missouri in Benton County on June 3, 1925 to Henry and Ida (Button) Breshears. She passed away at Truman Lake Manor in Lowry City, Missouri May 1, 2017.
She was joined in marriage to Woodrow T. Harris on May 19, 1940. To this marriage one son was born Jackie T. Harris on April 25, 1941. On March 10, 1964 her one and only grandchild was born, Delissa Dawn.
Alleen loved working and living on the farm. She exceptionally loved riding horses. Her and Woodrow also loved to hunt and fish together. They worked side by side for 59 years. Woodrow passed away on May 20, 1999. They had only been apart 3 days in all of those 59 years. She took care of Woodrow at home through his whole illness.
In January 2014 she entered Truman Lake Manor and loved going to all of the musical entertainment, especially when her granddaughter Delisa and her group would perform. In 2014 Jack passed away.
Alleen was preceded in death by her parents, all of her brothers and sisters, her husband Woodrow and her son Jackie T. Harris. She is survived by her granddaughter Delisa Dawn Spurgeon and husband Roger Spurgeon of Lowry City, Missouri; two step-great grandkids Jessica and Jeremy and many nieces, nephews and friends
