Dwayne Donald Hehner was born August 16, 1933 in Beatrice, Nebraska in Buffalo County. He passed away March 21, 2010 at Truman Lake Manor, Lowry City, MO.
He lived in Ravenna, Nebraska until he was around 12 years old with his twin brother Wayne and mother and father and little brother Dannie. They lived on a farm until they moved to Missouri in March 1946 and still lived on a farm at Mt. Zion. He attended County Line school during grade school. He went to high school at Deepwater High School and then enlisted in the Army in 1953 until 1955. After returning home he worked at Brownie Davis Rock Quarry until 1962.
Dwayne was united in marriage in 1960 to Flora Irene Cline and to this union there were 7 children born, 4 boys and 3 girls. Charles, Mary, Danny, Dwayne, Martha, Scott, and Kathy. He moved to Tonasket, Washington in1962. Dwayne worked in an apple orchard until 1992 when he returned to Missouri to care for his mother.
He loved fishing, working in his fruit and vegetable gardens and enjoyed going to flea markets and garage sales. He had a great love for children and enjoyed playing games with them.
Dwayne was preceded in death by his mother, Susan, father, Ed and one brother Dannie.
He survived by 1 brother, Wayne and his wife Connie of Deepwater, MO, 7 children, Charles, Martha, Dwayne Jr., Dannie, and Kathy, all of Washington; Mary of Rogers, AR and Scott of Clinton, MO, several grandchildren and many, many other relatives and friends. He will be sadly missed.
