Mary Lucinda Graham was born September 23, 1939 to Homer (Pete) and Leafa (Brown) Copenhaver in rural St. Clair County near Vista, Missouri. She passed away November 19, 2020 in Bolivar, Missouri.
She attended grad school in Vista and graduated from Osceola High School in the year of 1957. Mary Lu married Basil Hildebrand June 20, 1959
The first fifteen years were spent working as a dental assistant. Through this time she took her training to become certified. After a long illness she took a desk job at the courthouse for both the county clerk and county assessor for 12 years. She retired from the State Tax Commission of Missouri after working 18 years as a Residential/Agriculture Appraiser.
Mary Lu made a profession of faith at an early age. She remained active in church with her love for music. After retiring in 2002 she taught piano lessons to several children.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her half sister, Jean Copenhaver Stogsdill
Mary Lu was survived by her husband, Basil Hildebrand; brother, E.W. Graham and wife, Myra; brother-in-law, Rex and wife Dorletta; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews many cousins as well as her church family.
