Huckaby, John Douglas October 30, 1966 - August 26, 2013

John Douglas Huckaby, age 46, of Stockton, Missouri passed away on Monday, August 26, 2013 at Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburg, Kansas, after a long battle with cancer. He was born in El Dorado Springs, Missouri on October 30, 1966 to Mary Catherine Huckaby and Steven Douglas Huckaby, Sr. In 1995 he met and later married his wife, Melissa. To this union they had a daughter in 1996, Natalie Nicole and later in 2009 adopted their son, Logan Dean Loomis. John was considered a jack of all trades and could fix about anything. He had a love for Ford trucks. He was also a devoted husband and wonderful father. John put his family first. He was also a loving and devoted friend to many. John is survived by his wife, Melissa; daughter, Natalie; son, Logan, all of the home in Stockton, Missouri; his mother, Mary Huckaby of El Dorado Springs, Missouri; his father, Steve Huckaby Sr of El Dorado Springs, Missouri; a brother, Steve Huckaby Jr.; two sisters, Jeanne Marshall and Teressa McGraw all of El Dorado Springs, Missouri; along with aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many other family and friends.
