Hattie Margaret (Loomis) Jones was born April 17, 1918 in Osceola, Missouri to Charlie and Martha (Greenfield) Loomis. She passed away on July 10, 2015.
Hattie married Davey Franklin Jones in March of 1935 and they enjoyed 46 years together. They had 9 children, Margie, Lloyd, Robert, Roy Marvin, Darrel, Gary, Cheryl, and Larry.
She was a hard working woman who spent her time raising her children and taking care of her household, while also helping Davey out with the family business. The family lived in the Osceola area for many years. Eventually they relocated to the El Dorado Springs area where Hattie lived on her own until her health declined.
Davey preceded Hattie in death in 1981. After Davey passed away, she lived on her own and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was a very accomplished and passionate dancer. Hattie was always very supportive of her sons, and later her grandchildren in the family sport of auto racing, and enjoyed going to the races to watch them until her health prevented it. She loved her family and was passionate about her children, and later grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Hattie was saved at the age of 19 and loved Jesus, her savior. All through life, she found her strength in Him. Up to her death, she praised the Lord for all of His goodness and blessings, and always reminded us that she would not know what to do without Jesus. She always praised the Lord for her good life!
She is survived by her children, Margie Nibert and husband August, Lloyd J. Jones and wife Nancy, Robert W. Jones and wife Ruth, Roy Lee Jones and Sherley West, Marvin D. Jones and wife Veta, Darrel F. Jones and wife Robin, Gary W. Jones and wife Debra, Cheryl D. Jones, Larry L. Jones; twenty-three grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
