EDITH ANN KEETON age 81, the daughter of Joseph Robert and Myrtal Irene (Leak) Fox. Ann was born April 15th, 1940 in Schell City, Mo. Ann passed from this life at 11am on 11-27-21 at Providence Medical Center in Kansas City Kansas. Ann lived most of her youth in and around Schell City. On March 21, 1959, Ann was united in marriage to Frankie Wayne Keeton in Osceola, Mo. To their union, four children were born. Ann & Wayne made their home in Platte County where Ann first worked at Tension Envelope in Fairfax. She later worked at Irene’s cafe during the day and the Golden Age Lodge in the evening. Ann also worked at the 7up Bottling Company, Wards Paper Box Company, Fowler Envelope, and was captain for Wells Fargo Guard Service over the years. Her last employment was as manager of Bristol Manor in Weston, Mo before retiring. Ann loved hunting, fishing, camping, and training horses. She was part of a commercial fishing team with her husband and son on the Missouri river for several years. Her religious affiliation was Baptist. Her survivors include her four children, Daughters, Donna and husband Jerry Comer of Weston, Mo, Cheryl & husband Terry Wright of Dearborn, Mo, Debbie McHone of Leavenworth, KS, and son Roger Keeton of Moberly. Nine Grandchildren and over 20 great grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister Wanda and husband Roger Phillips,and two brothers Robert Fox and wife Otella, and Jack Fox and wife, as well as many nieces and nephews. Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Frankie Wayne Keeton, her parents Robert & Irene Fox, and two sisters Berta Carl and Mary Collins. Visitation and services will be held at Sheldon Funeral Home in Eldorado Springs, Mo at noon on Thursday 12-2-21 with brother Robert Fox officiating. Pallbearers will be: Jason Comer, Shain Farr, CJ Graves, Ron Elliott, Bill Carl, and Joe Carl. Burial will be at 1pm at Green Lawn Cemetery in Schell City, MO.
