Koger, Lillian A. December 5, 1927 - June 30, 2022

Lillian Arlene Koger was born on December 5, 1927, in Hawleyville, Iowa to Kenneth and Opal Crawford. She passed away June 30, 2022, in Bolivar, Missouri.

Lillian was the oldest of six children.  Her job was to peel potatoes for the family every night and help care for the younger children.  In 1939, the Crawford family moved to the Damascus area where her parents ran the Damascus Store for a short time before the war.  She met Reed Sherman when he brought catfish to her family.  They dated and were married on January 8, 1944.

To this union two children were born, Larry Gene and Sharon Ann.  Reed farmed in Horseshoe Bend while Lillian stayed home to raise the children and a big garden.  She was a very patient and loving mom.  She joined High Hill Missionary Baptist Church on August 2, 1953, and has been an active member ever since.

Reed and Lillian moved to Kansas City where they each had various jobs until Reed was hired at Kansas City Electric Supply.  They moved back to Osceola in 1973.  Reed passed away on October 31, 1973.  Lillian was employed by Tri-County Clinic, Sac Osage Hospital and as a housekeeper for various individuals.

Lillian married Ralph Koger on May 23, 1982.  They enjoyed traveling and sharing their condo in Kimberling City with family.  Ralph passed away on December 18, 1996.

Lillian continued to enjoy traveling.  She went on a cruise to the Virgin Islands with Gladys Wright, a trip to Las Vegas with Sharon, Pat Cameron, and Marie Knight.  Sharon also accompanied Lillian on a trip to Alaska which was a gift from her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Kenneth and Opal Crawford, brothers: Carrol Crawford, Don Crawford, and Gene Crawford, sister Patty Booher, husband Reed Sherman, husband Ralph Koger and her daughter-in-law Karen Sue Sherman.

Lillian is survived by her sister Janet Glesinger, son Larry Sherman, daughter Sharon Wombles, son-in-law Forrest Wombles, grandchildren: Cheralyn, Angela, Pamela, Gina, Gerad, Tammy, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and many more that love and will miss her dearly.
