Larabee, Joe Vern February 26, 1963 - October 2, 2012

Julius “Joe” Vern Larabee was born February 26, 1963 in Kansas City, Kansas to Charles Larabee and Geri Francis Hogue Larabee. He passed away at his home in Osceola, Missouri on October 2, 2012. He attended Schlagle High School in Wyandotte County, Kansas as a young man. He later became a Certified Nurses Assistant and worked at Truman Lake Manor Nursing Home in Lowry City, Missouri for 5 years. Joe also worked as a farm hand for the Andersons Dairy Farm. Joe was an avid outdoorsman. He loved hunting and fishing whenever he could and appreciated the opportunity to be in the outdoors. He was very good about giving back in any way he could. Joe attended several different Baptist churches when he lived in the area. He loved kids and was even known as the “Rug Rat” to his nieces , nephews and other children. Joe was a great brother, uncle and neighbor and was a great role model to all of those around him on how to treat others. He would do anything for including giving the shirt off of his back. Joe is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Geri Larabee. He is survived by 3 brothers, Sam Larabee, Jack Larabee and Tony Northcutt; 2 sisters, Rosemary Supernault and Dorothy Jones; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a very dear friend Wilma Harper.
