Danielle Leah Mallett-Woods of Osceola, Missouri passed away at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, Missouri April 5, 2019 with her sister Ila Duvall, Ina Hess and cousin Jennifer Riley by her side.
She was born to the late Emerson Owen and Rowena Mabelle Brown on December 29, 1949 Independence, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her sister, Denise L. Brown Davis of Buckner, Missouri; brother Emerson Owen Brown II of Independence, Missouri and her husband of 38 years Robert E. Mallett of Osceola, Missouri. Dani graduated from Fort Osage High School in 1967.
She had a commitment ceremony to Tim Woods on April 14, 2016 where they spent most days relaxing on their log cabin homes front porch with their dog Sassy. Dani is survived by her two children, Scott Mallett of Osceola, Missouri and William Shook II of Killeen, Texas; step-daughter, Christine Mallett; step-son, Robert E. Mallett II of Pleasant Hill, Missouri. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Dani was an accredited accountant in tax services. She also served as a St. Clair County Sheriffs Department dispatcher for many years. A high number of years were spent as a homemaker raising and caring for her two sons. Dani was immensely proud of her family and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories.
Dani has chosen cremation and requested that there be no viewing or funeral services. A last wish requested for a celebration of life service was to be done at Gerster Baptist Church. A Sunday service to celebrate Danielle Mallett-Woods was held at 11 AM, Sunday, April 7, 2019.
