Bobby Carl Masten, Jr. was born August 21,1955 to Bobby C. Masten and Arlene (Hart) Dunn.  He passed away December 30, 2020 at his home near Roscoe, Missouri.

He worked heavy construction in Kansas City  until back problems and extensive surgeries forced him to retire in the late 90’s. Bobby moved to Roscoe to be closer to family and friends. He was a member of the Roscoe Masonic Lodge and was on the Village of Roscoe City Council for ten years.

When he was able, Bobby enjoyed his vegetable garden, fishing and hunting, and could often be found at the local bar enjoying a beer with his friends. He played pool and always had quarters for the jukebox. He was a good cook and loved to grill. He enjoyed home brewing and binge watching shows on TV. He loved infomercials and online shopping. He also loved football, especially the Kansas City Chiefs.

Bobby had a strong sense of wrong and right. He was the kind of man you could ask for a favor. He was always helping others and always had time for people to call and shoot the breeze or drop in for a visit. He could be stubborn as a mule, but he was a good father, a good neighbor, and a good friend.

He was preceded in death by his father Bobby C Masten, mother Arlene Dunn and his two brothers, Richard and Steven.   Bobby is survived by his sister Twila Masten Bell and his daughters Amanda Masten-Shipman of Millington, TN, and Tanya Webb of Bolivar, MO.
