Larry D. Morgan (BEAN) was born on September 23, 1947 in Weaubleau, Missouri to Clarence and Lucille Morgan. In 1963 at the age of 16 Larry was in an automobile accident, where he lost the use of his legs. He always said that he sincerely thought that this event saved his life. Larry suffered a lifetime of complications as a result of this accident and he never saw his circumstance as misfortune. Words cannot begin to describe the adversity that Larry has triumphed over in his lifetime.
Larry was the kind of man who always put others before himself and he never wanted to be a burden on anyone. Larry was and is an Uncle, Brother, Cousin, Husband, Son and most of all a friend. Larry was a dear friend to all who knew him. He never met a stranger and one close friend was quoted as saying: Larry is the shortest man any of us will ever have to look up to. Larry loved his family and will be greatly missed. Larry had a love for life that most people never fully realize.
Larry lived and worked in several locations throughout his life and was an upholsterer by profession.
Larry was happily married to his wife and soul mate for 22 years until her death. Larry always said that Sharon was his rock.
Larry Dean Morgan was called home to God on September, 5 at 6 AM as a result of complications associated with cancer.
Larry was preceded in death by his father and mother, Clarence and Lucille Morgan of Osceola; 1 brother Kevin Morgan of Osceola and an infant sibling who died shortly after birth.
Larry is survived by his sisters Phyllis Miller of Humansville and Leona Davis of Osceola, as well as many nieces and nephews.
