Nall, Warren Lee December 26, 1943 - September 18, 2014

Warren Lee Nall was born on December 26, 1943 in Kansas City, Kansas to Lonnie (Tex) Nall and Virginia (Brown) Nall. The family moved to Osceola, MO in 1952. On July 4, 1954 Vista Baptist Church conducted his baptism at Lostin Creek. As a teen he was employed at Duke Grocery Store on the square in Osceola. He graduated from Osceola High School in 1961. Warren married Joan Baker on September 24, 1961. To this union four children were born Angela, Pam, Texas and Teresa. On January 25, 1972 he married Erlene Reid and she brought to the marriage her three daughters, Shemene, Christine, and Renee to which he raised as his own daughters. Later to this marriage a daughter Brenda (Fred) was born. His trucking career started at the age of 18 driving a dump truck for Ted Sink. He left the Osceola area and moved to Kansas City to work for Mayflower Van Lines. He switched jobs and went to work for National Carriers in Kansas City where he leased the 6th truck on the fleet, then he transferred to Liberal, Kansas. He had six tractor trailers which he leased to National Carriers from 1970 to 1974. His business was called East Coast Trucking. He moved back to the Osceola area in 1973 where he worked in a saw mill and then started his second trucking business in 1986 called Nall Farms Trucking. He ventured into the restaurant business in 1995 by opening Hookers Restaurant and Lounge in Osceola. Careers changed again when he went to work for MFA where he retired. He lived in the Lowry City area for 37 years. Warren loved fishing, attending cattle auctions, and riding ATV’s , target shooting, and arrowhead hunting, along the Osage River in Monegaw Springs with his friends and family. Also he spent his leisure time tinkering with old tractors. He was preceded in death by his parents Lonnie (Tex) Nall and Virginia Nall, two brothers Walter Rex Nall and Oral Wesley Nall and two grandsons, Robbie and Bradley. He is survived by his eight children, Angela Prike (Randy), Shemene Peckman (Burl), Pam Seuferling (Larry), Christine Hein (Bill), Texas Nall (Dannette), Renee Snider (Richard), Teresa Nall, and Brenda (Fred) Nall, three sisters, Martha Beach, Rita Jamsek and Linda Thomas Brubaker, fifteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and a great many friends.
