Bonnie Nitsche, age 91, of El Dorado Springs, Missouri passed away August 19, 2024. Bonnie was the only child of Olen and Ruby (Clark) Barritt. Bonnie was born in the home south of El Dorado Springs on October 10, 1932. She and her husband, Myrle, retired and returned to El Dorado Springs in 1982, from Kansas City where she served as Vice- President of the Walnut Ridge Development Corporation. After retirement she spent her spare time serving as a volunteer in several worthwhile organizations. An injury to her knee while working in her yard ended most of her volunteer work.
Preceding Bonnie in death were her parents, Olen Barritt in February 2002, Ruby Barritt in February 2006, and her husband Myrle in February 2007. She always thought February was a lonely month for her.
She is survived by her three children: Anita Kim Pentecost, William Kirk Friend and wife Laura, and Olen Kent Friend, twin grand-daughters: Natalie Friend, and Nicole Temofeew and husband Nico, as well as several loving cousins and friends. Thanks to the Lord above, she lived a long and productive life.
