Patricia Ann Molz (Rowland), age 85, of El Dorado Springs, Mo. peacefully entered the presence of her Lord on September 21, 2026. She passed at Citizens Memorial Hospital in Bolivar, Missouri.
Patricia, beloved daughter of Walter Rowland and Sybil Sanders,was born December 20, 1940 in Altus, Arkansas. She was raised by her mother, Sybil (Babe), and Elvin (Fuzzy) Fuson. She was a hardworking woman who devoted much of her life to her family, her farm, her church, and caring for the people around her.
Pat was a woman of many talents and many passions. She farmed and worked hard throughout her life, and she found joy in the simple things she could grow, make, and share with others. She loved canning, and her family will surely remember her famous pickled beets, the kind that were hard to beat. She loved her milk goats and had a deep interest in naturopathy, especially after her husband became ill. She was also an exceptionally talented quilter. Patricia made beautiful quilts and often gave them away as gifts to people who needed them, using something she created with her own hands to bring warmth and comfort to others.
Above all, Pat loved her family. She was the proud mother of four sons, and raising four boys into good men was an accomplishment of which she could certainly be proud. She took great pride in the men her sons became and in the families they built.
Pat had a gift for making people feel welcome. She could strike up a conversation with just about anyone, and before long, they might find themselves telling her
their whole life story. She carried a great deal of love in a big, beautiful heart and cared deeply for the people around her. She was strong-willed and stubborn in the best possible way – a quality that sometimes made her challenging, but also made her determined, resilient, and fiercely devoted to the people she loved.
Pat was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She leaves behind four sons: Michael Greg Molz; Kevin Keith Molz and his wife, Mary; Donald Dean Molz and his wife, Vicki; and Steven Scott Molz and his wife, Tania. She is also survived by eleven of her twelve grandchildren, Mathew, Melissa, Scotty, Tiffani, Brookelynn, Derek, Heather, Lance, Lyndsi, Jesse, and Lakyn, eighteen great-grandchildren, Dillon, Rilynn, Kylie, Teighlor, Theodore, Nova, Vega, Tate, Jerico, Jasper, Amilia, Gianna, Aliyah, Alana, Kayden, Rylie, Caroline, Vivian, other extended family members, and many friends who loved her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Keith Molz, her Brother Keith Rowland and her grandson, Colton Molz.
Pat’s life was one of hard work, family, faith (member of Coon Creek Baptist Church), resilience, and love. She leaves behind more than memories. She leaves behind the people she raised, the people she cared for, the quilts she made, the food she shared, the lessons she taught, and the love she gave so freely. Her presence will be deeply missed, but the love she gave her family will continue through the generations.
