Wilma Jane (Johnson) Pennington was born April 16,1943, in Kansas City, Missouri to Earl Johnson and Allice Allen. She passed away March 18, 2024 in Kansas City, Missouri.
Wilma married William Eugene Pennington in 1961. She spent her younger days as a nurse for 30 years, raising her children, and traveling the world in a school bus that the 8 of them called home. Wilma settled back in Missouri when she retired and lived in the same house in Lowry City for 20 years. She enjoyed a good cup of coffee, old country music, fancy dresses, watching her grandchildren grow, and her dog.
Wilma was preceded in death by her husband, William Eugene Pennington and her sons Carl Edward Pennington, Jason Howard Pennington, and Raymond Eugene Pennington.
She is survived by her daughters Lisa Marie Daugherty, and Krystal Christine Theone,11 grandchildren,13 great grandchildren, as well as many friends.
