Clifford Keith Pfaffly, 56 years old of Raytown, Missouri was born November 5th, 1962 to Darrell and Rita (Carmichael) Pfaffly in Kansas City, Missouri at Research Medical Center. He went home to be with Jesus, unexpectedly, on January 16th, 2019.
He attended East High School in Kansas City, MO and on August 14th 1982 was married to Connie Renee Bryson. They had two children, Shane Michael Pfaffly and Samantha Jo Pfaffly (Ryan).
Cliff enjoyed working outdoors and working with his hands. He was proud of his nearly 40 year career with Huttinger Construction Company. His work ethic and knowledge of the trade made Cliff highly respected in this community by his peers and the crews he worked with at Huttinger.
On February 8th, 2003 he met Rhonda Edwards. They became inseparable and were united in marriage July 16th, 2005. With his marriage to Rhonda, Clifford gained a son, Hunter Ray Edwards and Rhonda was blessed with Shane and Samantha.
In his younger years, he enjoyed working and spending time on the family farm in White Cloud, KS with his Grandpa and his father. He loved to hunt, fish, and mushroom hunt on the property. He practically lived there in the summer time.
Cliff absolutely loved the game of golf. He enjoyed playing on a golf league. Pretty much any nice weekend morning, you’d find him out on the course. He especially enjoyed playing with his best buddy, Jamie Deets, his brother, Jeff, his brother-in-law Jack Williams and his partner Dave Bruynell, just to name a few. He loved being outdoors, going on road trips and being with his family and friends.
Cliff was preceded in death by his sister Rebecca Lynn Pfaffly, father Darrell Keith Pfaffly and father-in-law Robert Darrel Thrasher.
He is survived by his wife Rhonda, of the home; his children Shane Pfaffly of Lee’s Summit, MO, Samantha Ryan (Derek) of Shawnee, KS and Hunter Ray Edwards of Raytown, MO; his mother Rita Pfaffly of Pleasant Valley, MO; sister Pam Daniel (Scott) of Pleasant Valley, MO; brother Jeff Pfaffly (Jayleen) of Pleasant Valley, MO; mother-in-law Glenna Rae Thrasher; grandchildren Peyton Renee Smiddy-Ryan, Addilyn Raye Ryan and Dawson David Keith Ryan; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews along with many, many friends. His smile, his contagious laugh and his big heart will be missed by so many!
