Carolyn Lee (Curp) Pittman was born July 10, 1942. She married her life partner Carl Pittman March 28 1959. Carolyn passed away in her home, with her family,  Sunday December 29. Carolyn was self employed with her husband, lifelong owners in the Residential Moving industry. Carolyn had four children, and was known for temporarily taking in other children who needed a home or a hand up.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband Carl Pittman 7/11/00, her grandson John   Marrs III 12/1/16, and parents Cecil Curp and Geraldine (Geri) Hughes. Also, step-father Harry Hughes and Pat Curp.   Carolyn is survived by her children Cheryl Pittman McIntosh and husband Jim, Carla Marrs, Christina Cunningham and husband Steve, and Carl Pittman Jr.  and wife Jennifer. Honorary daughter Mary K. Meyer. Grandchildren Scott McGroarty, Carl Pittman III, Caitlin Pittman, and Crystal Cunningham. Great Grandchildren Kaylee McGroarty, Carson McGroarty, and Corbin Cunningham. Sisters Marilyn (Sue) Pittman and Kathy Warrick,  and brother Jack Brown.

Carolyn fought a long hard battle with heart disease and other health complications. Carolyn loved to attend gatherings to hear her family play music. Carolyn loved the solitude and quiet of her country home, and her Aunt Evelyn and Uncle Bob who wanted it for her. Carolyn loved fishing with her family. Carolyn loved her family and friends, getting together to visit or play cards, and travel.  Carolyn loved reminiscing with her sister-in-laws and confidants Marge Pittman-Bryant and Pam Matthews.

We think Mom loved that her children were devoted to her, and helped her through many trials and saw to her care.

We Love You Something Fierce Mom and we will miss you terribly.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of a beautiful human being, Carolyn Pittman. Am also sorry that I did not get to see her before her death. I was blessed to be her nurse and her friend. My heart goes out to her family, I know how much she meant to each and every one of you. Know that my thoughts and prayers are with you during your time of grief, I know how hard it can be.
