Claudine Rose (Hash) Powell was born to Claude L. and Margaret R. (West) Hash on January 26, 1936 at home in Grandview, Missouri. She passed away on February 9, 2022 in Independence, Missouri.
She was united in marriage to Edward J. Powell III on September 7, 1952. They were married for 66 years.
Claudine loved to roller skate, read, work crossword puzzles and cook for her family. She loved to play with all her grandchildren. She worked at Sonic Drive-In for 30 years before retiring.
Claudine was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ed, brother Hank Hash, and sister Margie A (Hash) Potter.
She is survived by three children, Debra Crone, Ed Powell Jr., and Bob Powell all from Independence, Missouri, three brothers, Bill and Ruth Ann Hash of Lebanon, Missouri, Bob and Diana Hash of Villa Ridge, Missouri, and Don and Vicky Hash of Osceola, Missouri, 10 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 14 great-great grandchildren and 1 great-great-great grandchild, as well as many nieces, nephews other family and friends.
