Steven L. Preston, 63, of El Dorado Springs passed away on June, 19, 2017 at his home of natural causes. He was born in Vinita, Oklahoma to Marvin “Tom” and Betty (Parkhurst) Preston on November 10, 1953.
He worked as a lineman for the City of El Dorado Springs and Lamar, Missouri for several years before moving to the Lake of the Ozarks, where he worked at a local store, until his health forced him to quit.
Steven enjoyed fishing in his off time and socializing with his family and friends. Steven was involved with Eagle Post 4279 where he served as a board member.
Preceding him in death were his father Tom and brother Ronnie Preston.
He is survived by his mother Betty Preston; four children Tyson Preston of Florida, Steven ‘Tre’ Hartl and wife Sarah of Wisconsin, Ronee Hartl of Wisconsin, and Zackery Preston of Missouri. As well as four grandchildren and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
