Marie Elizabeth (Morgan) Ralston, was born March 15, 1947 in Detroit, Michigan to Lewis and Marie Hiatt, she was the middle child of three. She left her life on January 30, 2022 at 8:00pm at Truman Lake Manor nursing home.
She was united in her first marriage to Johnie Morgan in December of 1965 in Belvidere, Illinois. This union was blessed with two wonderful, amazing children, Lewis and Marie. In the spring of 1976 they moved to Roscoe, MO. In January of 1984 Marie was united in marriage to her second husband Robert (Bob) Ralston. Marie was adventures when cooking in the kitchen and always exceeded everyone’s expectations; she was famous for her pizza. Marie enjoyed gardening and crocheting and many more hobbies including adopting stray animals and nursing them to health. She also loved to talk to everyone, she knew no stranger she was known as grandma re, auntie re, mom or even just Re to everyone. She loved teaching everyone about Jesus. She also loved spending time with all her children and grandchildren, teaching them many skills in life like fishing and cooking. You never knew what was going to pop out of her mouth, some serious, some funny and some very educational.
Marie was preceded in death by her second husband Bob Ralston and her parents Lewis and Marie Hiatt.
She is survived by her two children Lewis Morgan of Roscoe, Mo and Marie Shapley and her husband Charles of Sedalia, Mo by 4 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 2 sisters Etta and Louise and many nieces, nephews and her ex husband and best friend John Morgan.
