Bill was born William Evert Read, Jr. on August 26, 1963 to William Evert Read and Alana Marie (Bellew) Read in Kansas City, Missouri. He is preceded in death by both of his parents, his mother-in-law Sheryl and cherished Uncles Allen Bellew, Elmer Read, and Aunt Alberta, along with several other loving family members.
He is survived by his loving wife, Tina, his daughter and son-in-law, Alana and Zach, his son and daughter-in-law, William III and Amanda, and his son and daughter-in-law, Kyle and Christen. Also left to cherish his memory are his three beautiful grandchildren, Kera Lin, William IV, and Nixon West Read as well as countless extended family members and friends.
Bill worked hard his entire life to provide a great life for not only his immediate family but several extended family members at different times when needed. He made sure no one went without anything they needed or wanted as long as he could help. He always wanted everyone to be happy so he made efforts to aid in that whenever he could, be it with gifts (big or small), lending a helping hand, or even just with a special greeting card or note. Bill loved racing of all types. He raced different kinds of cars, bicycles and dirt bikes and he was really great at it. He found joy in gardening and loved filling the yard and house with plants and flowers. He also loved LOUD music and collected speakers that brought joy (and headaches) to everyone he knew (and the neighbors too).
The biggest joys in his life included being a proud husband, proud father and especially being a grandpa. He was the best Papa any kid could ask for and his grandchildren made his life happy every day. Words cannot begin to express how much Bill will be missed by all, but please take comfort in the fact that he no longer feels any pain or sadness and he has rejoined his parents in a beautiful place called Heaven. He is finally at peace.
