George Robert Reeves was born October 21, 1925 in Buffalo, NY to George Irwin and Isabella (Anderson) Reeves. He passed away May 24, 2012 at his home.
George served in the U.S. Navy as an aviation radioman during WWII. After his honorable discharge he traveled extensively as a lead electronic technician with the National Weather Service. After his retirement in 1984 he made his home in El Dorado Springs, MO.
He served as Quartermaster in the VFW and was a Past Master and member of Clintonville Masonic Lodge #482. George enjoyed his farm, his animals and spending time with family and friends.
George was preceded in death by his wife of 36 years, Darelyn, his grandson, George Rosales and several close personal friends.
He is survived by his daughter Georgiana Kenney and husband, Dan, son Steven Reeves and wife, Andrea, two grandchildren, Richard and Hannah; his sister Lois Newby and husband, Jim, nephew, Robert Richards, niece, Renee Leedy and many close friends.
Masonic Rites will be performed locally and a private family burial will be at a later date.
