Martha Ann Pasley, of Osceola, Missouri was born in Clinton, Missouri to Richard (RIP) Ellison and Nona Dee (Sherrick) Pasley on August 15, 1954 She departed this life on Sunday, October 18, 2020 at her home in Osceola, Missouri at the age of 68 years young.
She attended school in Clinton, Missouri and Elmonte, California. In her early years she worked in the family business at L.A. Horse and Mule Auction, City of Industry, California and Windsor Auction Company in Windsor, Missouri. In later years she worked as an in-home care giver for several agencies, however, never relinquished her love of horses, cattle and the excitement of the sale barns.
Martha was an avid storyteller and enjoyed sharing her family history, tales of adventure and all of the funny antics. She was blessed with the gift of gab which made her stories engaging and entertaining. Her goal was to put these stories to paper in a book on the Pasley family history. Her greatest asset was her love of family and the ability to always put others first.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Phillip Maverick Gwatney; 2 brothers, Billy Collins and Richard Pasley, Jr.
Martha is survived by her daughter, Deanna Rogers of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; 2 grandsons, Corey VanWinkle and Dylan VanWinkle, both of Clinton, Missouri; 3 great-granddaughters, other relatives and many friends.
