Johnnie Martin Richey was born March 11, 1935 in Monegaw Springs, Missouri to Art and Bessie Richey. He passed away on December 31, 2020.
He was born & raised in Monegaw Springs, Missouri where he enjoyed breaking & riding horses, farming, hunting, fishing, & being outdoors. He worked burying telephone cable, logging, & farming.
Johnnie was married to Patricia Carriker on August 10, 1974 & they were married happily for 31 years until her passing on January 14, 2006. This Union was blessed with 5 stepchildren, Candy, Geraldine, Tina, Bud, & Tammy.
They moved to ElDorado Springs in 1975 where they ultimately purchased a farm, which was one of his passions. He loved taking care of the farm, which included raising horses, cattle, sheep & chickens. While in El Dorado he worked for many years at Barrington Manufacturing and taking care of the farm. After retirement he enjoyed mowing lawns & doing woodwork (His famous Bird & Dog Houses) & spending time with family.
