Elizabeth Nadyne Roeder was born on June 11, 1922, to Leonard and Lula (Meredith) Harris.  She passed away Saturday, March 16, 2024, at Truman Lake Manor in Lowry City, Missouri.

Nadyne was one of four children with Robert Thomas being the older brother and Vinita Ruth and William Kenneth being younger.  Nadyne and her siblings were raised to be active in the church and she continued to be active until her health prevented it.

Nadyne graduated from Osceola High School in 1940.  She worked as a secretary at the District Health Office and was an active member of the Osceola Baptist Church. She had also been one of the leaders of the Girl Scout Troop.

Nadyne married Richard Roeder on September 15, 1946.  Three children were born to this union,  Kenneth Ray 1947, James Robert 1948, and Hazel Ruth 1950.

Nadyne was a devoted wife, loving mother, and exemplary homemaker. She enjoyed her family and further distinguished herself as a Cub Scout Den Mother, Sunday School Teacher, Osceola Hospital volunteer and member of the Grace United Methodist Church, the Gideon’s Auxiliary and VFW Women Auxiliary.

Nadyne was preceded in death by her parents Leonard and Lula, her husband Richard, son Kenneth, brother Robert, and daughter-in-law Toni.

Nadyne is survived by her son James, daughter Hazel, her brother Bill and Sister Vinita. She is also survive by five grandchildren, Lori Nimmo (Andy), Chastity Sherman (Chris), Michael Roeder (Amy), Brian Roeder (Jerry), Katherine States (Derrick), great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and multiple nieces, nephews and friends.

    Such a sweet soul. We shared a church pew for lots of years. So many visits and memories.
