Betty Jane Scott was born April 5, 1923, in Clinton, Missouri. Betty was the daughter of Arlie and Carrie (Griggs) Meredith. She passed away October 2, 2013, at Vintage Park in Louisburg, Kansas. On July 13, 1940, Betty was united in marriage to Henry J. Scott, in Montrose, Missouri. Betty and Joe’s homes were in Osceola, Missouri, and Johnson County, Kansas. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Joe; her parents, Arlie and Carrie; two sisters, Ada Hill and Mary Guida; and two sons, Joseph “Jodie” and Marvin “Dick”. She is survived by one son, Jack Scott and wife Pam; two daughters, Gerry Scott and Paula McKinney; 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter, other relatives and many friends.
