Singleton, Cody D. December 4, 2002 - April 27, 2019

Cody Dean Singleton, 16, was born December 4, 2002 in Kansas City, Missouri to Casey Dean Singlton and Christina Ann Singleton. He passed away April 27, 2019 near Osceola, Missouri.

He was a sophomore at Osceola High School. His activities and hobbies involved band, FFA (trapshooting), bowling, Volunteer Junior Firefighter, Freedom of Road Riders (FORR); Local 3, swimming at the pool, eating, sleeping, going to the races, going to church, playing sports, using social media, listening to music and watching videos on YouTube and watching movies with his mother and friends. He loved to fish, hunt, ride his lawn mower, drive his truck and hang out on the square at the Gazebo with his many friends, but always his “three musketeer squad”, Nathan Whitham, Martha Hash and Shelby Roberson.

Cody has a big heart. He is a momma’s boy and her sunshine and protector and his father’s son. He is his sisters “big little brother”. He was a giver and always here for anyone when they needed a helping hand. He never liked school, but his teachers always had pleasant words for who he was as a person. Cody was taken way to soon from us all, but in his short time with being here with us he lived a big life. He has blessed us all and has made an impression on many. He is loved and will be missed by many and never forgotten. Until we see you again, Cody Bear!

He was preceded in death by his great-grandfathers Pokie Reno and Dave Singleton. Cody is survived by his parents, Casey and Christina Singleton; three sisters, Brianna Clemmons, Ashley Singleton and Mikinzi Lambermont; two nephews, Teagon Keene and Spencer Clemmons and a soon to be born baby boy; great-grandmother Mary Singleton and great-grandmother Selma Reno; grandparents Dean and Cheryl Singleton, Brenda Rena, Marcia Brown, Randy and Teresa DeWitt, Gary and Marva Williams; his cat Charlie, as well as many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and many friends.
