Makeeshia Leighan Skopec was born January 23, 1983 in Bolivar, Missouri. She passed away on September 13, 2016 at her home in Osceola, Missouri.
She was raised in the Coon Creek Baptist church where she accepted Jesus as her savior and was baptized at this church. Makeeshia graduated from Osceola High School in 2001. She enjoyed her work in the nursing field whether it was in the nursing home, working with dialysis patients or home health.
Makeeshia spent her days doing what she loved, which was being with her babies and taking them to their sporting events. She loved taking pictures of her kids with their teammates. This year Makeeshia was the cheer coach for the 5th and 6th grade.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Jim Skopec; grandmother, Suzi Merchant and sister Deb Walton.
Makeeshia is survived by her children, Khade Dugan, Kyleigh Crabb and Klayton Crabb; her mom and stepdad, Lori and Robert Walton; father James Skopec; fiancée, Jamie Cutler; 2 brothers, Shawn Skopec and wife Jennifer and Paul Walton; 1 sister, Vickie Milsapp; grandma Dixie Skopec and grandpa Don Merchant; uncles, Lewis Beach and wife Jeanine, Bernie Merchant, Todd Merchant and wife Nena, Ronnie Skopec and wife Peggy; Aunts, Judy Chalene and husband Scott, Jeanie Russell and husband Daniel; nephew, Tristan Hamilton; niece Alexis Skopec, several cousins, along with many, many friends.
