Daryl Lynn ‘Dozer’ Smith was born May 21,1975 to Randall Lee Smith and Deborah Kay (Vest) Witt at Cedar County Memorial Hospital El Dorado Springs, Missouri and passed away March 30th, 2023 after a short hard fought battle with cancer.
Daryl spent most of his life in the trucking industry until his health started to fail from diabetes.
Daryl’s biggest joy in life was the birth of his son Jackson Oliver Smith in 2012.
Daryl had a passion for the outdoors especially fishing. Always searching for that big catfish! Daryl loved all sports. Baseball, Nascar and watching the Kansas City Chiefs were some of his favorites.
Daryl is survived by his parents Randy Smith of Buffalo, Missouri and Debbie Witt of Caddo Mills, Texas. One son Jackson Oliver Smith of Bolivar, Missouri. Also his bonus children Brandon, Trinity and Nathan Guffey of Bolivar, Missouri. His siblings Deanna Hoelscher (Brandon) of Caddo Mills, Texas Stephanie Glor (Jed) of Buffalo, Missouri Robert Smith (Donna) of Excelsior Springs, Missouri and Samantha Peterman (Tad) of Willard, Missouri. Two very special Uncles Cliff Vest (Angie) of Marshfield, Missouri and Jerry (JB) Smith (Judy) of Buffalo, Missouri many other family members and friends.
