Mary Lou Smith was born February 13, 1941 in Kidder, Missouri to Emmett and Anna (McDaniel) Wilson, one of eight children. She passed away at her home in El Dorado Springs, Missouri on August 27, 2018.
Mary Lou was united in marriage to Charles “Dick” Smith in 1982 and they have made their home in El Dorado Springs the past twenty-five years.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Wilson; two sisters, Doris Potts and Fern Graham; and her firstborn child, a son, Rocky Dean Whitney.
Mary Lou is survived by her husband, Charles (Dick) Smith of the home; her childen in birth order, Teena McElroy, Rod Whitney, Teresa Kreutzer, and Todd Whitney; two brothers, Robert and William Wilson; two sisters, Erma Fewins and Pat Gates; grandchildren, Ramie Gorden, Willie McElroy, Dillian McElroy, Jeremiah McElroy, Conner Whitney, Mallory Diederich, Chris Dunn, Tyler Dunn, Trevor Dunn, Clint Whitney, Niki Whitney.
