Rose A. Miller was born February 27, 1916 in Braymer, Missouti to Harry and Ethel (Jones) Ross. She passed away May 8, 2012 at Mt. Vernon Place Care Center in Mt. Vernon, Missouri
On October 25, 1930 she was united in marriage to Roy Miller and to this union two sons were born Roy E. Miller and Harry Miller both of Collins, Missouri. She and Roy Miller moved to Collins in 1940 and lived there until Mr. Millers death in 1972. She then moved to Clinton, Missouri where she was employed at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital as a nurse. She worked as a nurse in Humansville, Missouri and El Dorado Springs, Missouri hospital, Sac-Osage Hospital in Osceola before returning to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton.
Mrs. Miller leaves this testimony to her loved ones and friends. “I was saved in the Nazarine Church of Udall Kansas in 1939 and was later baptized in Brush Creek and was in Brush Creek Baptist Church. Though I have been very weak in many ways I am sure Jesus understands my weakness and I shall meet him some day. I pray all of you will prepare to meet thy God and i would pray that when I leave this world, none of you will grieve as I have grieved. Lay me to rest by Roy and leave there knowing I shall be resting in peace and you needn’t go back to that place. I am looking forward to a better world and a great adventure even though I am human and want to live as long as I can be useful and I want to enjoy living and if I have wronged any of you it has not been intentional and I am not aware of it.”
