Imogene Tally, age 90 passed away Saturday December 15, 2012 in Topeka, Kansas. She was born April 26, 1922, the first of five children of Shandy and Hazel Stewart of Lowry City, Missouri. She was a graduate of Lowry City High School and the Springfield School of Business. With the exception of the last four years she lived practically her entire life in Lowry City and Clinton, Missouri. She married Tommy Thomason in December 1944, to this union was born one child, Harry Thomason of Topeka, Kansas. Tommy preceded her in death in February 1989. In June of 1995 Imogene married Eugene Tally, they lived in Clinton, Missouri where Gene preceded her in death October 2001. Imogene worked in excess of 25 years for the ASCS farm office in Osceola, Missouri. She was a lifetime member of the Lowry City United Methodist Church where she gave tirelessly of her time. She was a lifetime member of the Lowry City United Methodist Church where she gave tirelessly of her time. She was active in the Lowry City community serving on various boards including community betterment and the housing authority. In addition to her parents and her husbands she was preceded in death by brothers Shandy Stewart, Jr. and Kenneth Stewart of Lowry City and sister Norma Thompson of Clinton. She is survived by son Harry Thomason (Kim) of Topeka, kansas, sister Sharon Garrett(Glen) of Purdy, Missouri, step daughter Jeanie Butcher, Rio Rancho, New Mexico, granddaughter Heather Ruhter (Bryan) Ashland, Nebraska, grandson Jeremy Thomason (Nicole) Omaha, Nebraska, step granddaughter Erin Berg, Lawrence, Kansas and step grandson, Adam Berg, Papillion, Nebraska. She also had 4 great grandchildren, Emily Menzel, Megan Ruhter, Justin Thomason and Jacob Thomason and several nephews and nieces.
