Samantha Marie (Riley) Taylor, 42, passed away from this life suddenly into her Savior’s arms on October 21, 2023.
Samantha was born on May 6, 1981, to Sam and Marie (Stewart) Riley in Columbia, MO. She was raised by Sam and Daisy Riley after Marie’s passing. She lived most of her life in Humansville, MO and graduated from school there as well.
Samantha married Chad Taylor on February 13, 2005. To this union 2 daughters were born: Shannon Marie and Emmy Marie. She loved her girls and family very much. She also loved the Lord and made sure everyone she talked to knew she was a Christian and was recently baptized.
Samantha’s extended family was the staff and residents of Big Springs Nursing home in Humansville, MO. She enjoyed being active in the Residents Council and helped with the Activities department. She was always willing to help others when she could and made life-long friendships during the last three years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers: Johnnie Knight and Carl Riley.
Samantha is survived by her daughters: Shannon Marie and Emmy Marie, one grandson Joseph, parent Daisy Taylor, brothers: Josh, Samuel Riley Larry Alumbaugh, Jerry Allison, and sister Shannon Knowles. As well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
