Phyllis Dawn Brown Tedrick was born September 21, 1954 in Kermit, Texas to Charles M. Brown and Zada Marie (Wheeler) Brown. She passed away March 3, 2016 at her home in Hillsboro, Missouri.
She spent most of her early years in Moab, Utah where her dad worked in the uranium mines. In the year of 1960, Phyllis made the move to Missouri, eventually to the old family farm with her family. She was with the graduating class of 1972. She married Michael Rissell and had four children to this union. She went on to later marry Dave Tedrick on Christmas day of 1993. Her passion was her work and giving to others. She was an active member and youth leader at Highland Baptist Church. She was a respected mentor and friend to many.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her father Charlie Brown.
She is survived by her husband, Dave; her children, Tom, Casey, Nick, Suzie and Denny; 2 grandsons, Chris and Robert; 2 granddaughters, Samantha and Katie; 3 brothers, LaRoy, Jack and Carl Brown; mother, Zada Wheeler Brown. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
