Alonzo E. Thomas, age 55, passed away on May 13, 2016. He was born on February 16, 1961 in Aurora, Missouri to William “Bill” and Hazel June (Plank) Thomas.
Alonzo was saved at an early age. He was a member of the Purdy First Baptist Church. He was also a Mason of the Clintonville Lodge, Scottish, York Rites, and Shriner for several years. Alonzo drove a semi (as an owner/operator) over-the-road for several years. He loved seeing the country side and could steer you around most major cities.
Preceding him in death was his father, Bill Thomas; and his sister, Pam Roby.
Alonzo is survived by his mother, June Thomas; his sister, Helen Holzer (of the home); his brother, Stanley and his wife, Donna Thomas of Ardmore, TN; his brother-in-law, Kenny Roby of El Dorado Springs, MO; sisters, Jackie and her husband, Buck Bergesch of Monett, MO; Tabitha Cunningham of Grasse Butte, ND; and Lynnette and her husband, Bill Lee of Joplin, MO; and a whole host of nieces and nephews, and family as well as life long friends.
