Theodore Albert Wabbel was born October 2, 1923 in Lemon Cove, California to Albert Wabbel and Lela (Meal Wabbel. He passed away March 24, 2019 at his home in Lowry City, Missouri with family by his side.
He served his country proudly in the United States Navy as a tail gunner on a B-17 PBY out of the Aleutian Islands flying over the Pacific Ocean from 1942 to 1945.
Theodore was united in marriage to Naomie Myree Reeves on March 19, 1944 in Reno, Nevada. She passed away July 31, 1998.
He went on to be a mechanic taking his training through the General Motors Training Center in San Leandra, California. Theodore worked in many places around California helping family and friends in California, Oregon and Arkansas. He enjoyed going to flea markets and was proud of his gardening. Theodore lived in Lowry City, Missouri until his passing.
Theodore was preceded in death by 1 grandson and several siblings.
He is survived by his daughter, Lois (Rich) Bennetts of California; son Harold (Elaine) Wabbel of Nevada; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; one sister Emma Cheek of California and one brother Clarence Wabbel of California; his long time companion, Lucille Johnson and his buddy Tootsie.
