Eunice Lorene Walters was born August 26, 1926 in El Dorado Springs, Missouri to Earl Womble and Arretta (Teters) Womble. She passed away January 8, 2020 at St. Lukes North in Kansas City, Missouri.
She lived most of her life around the lowry city, Missouri area. She was saved at a young age and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lowry City.
Lorene was an avid Kansas City Royals and Kansas City Chiefs fan. She didn’t miss watching a game. She was especially fond of Patrick Mahomes.
Preceded in death by her parents Earl and Arretta Womble; 2 brothers, Gene and Nathan Womble; 2 sons-in-law, Harry Clay and Terry Hopkins and great granddaughter, Kirstyn Hopkins.
Survived by 5 daughters, Linda Clay of Independence, Missouri, Karen Crump and husband Charles of Clinton, Missouri, Pat Hopkins of Kansas City, Missouri, Susie Richardson and husband Pete of Kansas City, Missouri, Betty Hursh of Blue Springs, Missouri; 10 grandchildren, John Clay of Rayton, Missouri, Darin Clay and wife Christy of Grain Valley, Missouri, Paulette Jones and husband Roy of Denver, North Carolina, Chanda Chiles and husband Rich of Warsaw, Missouri, Angie Goodnight and husband Trent of Hudson, Iowa, Greg Hopkins of Kansas City, Missouri, Jill Boever and husband Ryan of Smithville, Missouri, Michele Kraly and husband Wes, Rodney Hursh and wife Stephanie of Centerview, Missouri, Ryan Hursh and wife Mandi of El Dorado, Kansas, Renada and Taylor Hankins of Greenwood, Missouri; 13 great grandchildren with 2 on the way and 1 great-great grandson on the way; several step grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends
