Warner, Nancy Louise January 22, 1925 - September 28, 2014

Nancy Warner, 89, was born in West Terre Haute, Indiana on January 22, 1925 to Clarence Kimbler and Ruth Sullivan. She passed away September 28, 2014 at her home in Lowry City, Missouri. Nancy was a devoted homemaker who served as a ‘Rosie the Riveter’ in a bomber manufacturing plant in Iowa during World War II. It was there she met and fell in love with Gene Teegarden whom she wed on September 5th, 1947 in Wolf Point, Montana. She followed Gene around the country as he pursued his passions of educating children and hunting. She was a Worthy Matron and enjoyed participating in the Eastern Star. She worked at the Daviess County Nursing Home for several years in Gallatin, Missouri. She remained a faithful wife and devoted homemaker to Gene until his passing on August 3rd, 1979 in Chillicothe, Missouri. She married Benjamin Warner on June 13, 1981 near Polo, Missouri and together they moved to Lowry City, Missouri where Ben retired after working as a welding supervisor in Kansas City, Missouri. Nancy volunteered for 25 years as a Long Term Care Ombudsman for the Care Connection for Aging Services, giving her time to helping those in the local nursing home. She remained married to Ben until his passing in April 21, 2011 at the home in Lowry City, Missouri. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Helen Ferrando and Tressie Fields and brothers Jack and Tommie Kimbler. Nancy is survived by her four children, Gene Teegarden and wife Evelyn of Hatch, Utah, Preston Teegarden and wife Donna of Cebu City, Philippines, Cathie Teegarden of Lowry City, Missouri and Shawn Teegarden and wife Susan of Peculiar, Missouri. She also had six stepchildren, Carol Streeter of Richmond, Missouri, Wanda Hudson and husband Bob of Sheridan, Wyoming, Ken Warner and wife Debbie of Pineville, Missouri, Gene Warner and wife Jan of Tulsa, Oklahoma, David Warner and wife Kim of Cameron, Missouri and Becki Sherer and husband Brad of Allendale, Missouri, her brothers Clarence Kimbler and wife Marilyn of West Terre Haute, Indiana, James Kimbler of Terre Haute, Indiana, sister Marie Cox of North Terre Haute, Indiana, 27 grandchildren and step grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren and step great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
