June Keeton Williams was born near Roscoe, Missouri November 13, 1929. She was the third daughter born to Frank and Roxie Keeton. She passed away at her home near Osceola, Missouri March 2, 2021.
She grew up on a farm near Roscoe with a loving family: her parents; two sisters, Lucille Moore and Leta Long and one brother, Wayne Keeton. June attended North Motley Grade School and graduated from Roscoe High School. Before the end of her senior year she married Junior Williams. They moved to a farm where Junior worked for the Pasley family for over 50 years
In their free time they spent many happy hours fishing and sharing their catch at family fish fry gatherings. June’s door was always open for a cup of coffee, a meal, or just time to visit. She never knew a stranger.
June and Junior were blessed with two sons, Ron of Springfield, Missouri and Don of Clinton, Missouri. She enjoyed playing games and baseball with her boys. Junior passed away in 1997, after 50 years of marriage. They had the joy of renewing their marriage vows before he passed away.
She gave her heart to the Lord around the age of 20 and was a member of the Monegaw Baptist Church. She was baptized in the Sac River. She later joined the Roscoe Christian Church. Her loves in life were God, family, friends, her pets, fishing, cooking, gardening, mushroom hunting and traditional country music. Her favorite artist was Randy Travis, who she had the privilege of meeting several times.
June worked for the International Shoe Factory in El Dorado Springs for 18 years, until they closed. She was also a cook at the nursing home in Lowry City and finally retired from working at the Sac Osage Hospital in Osceola. After retirement June loved to work in her yard, garden and flower beds. A good summer day was spend on her riding lawn mower.
In 2002 she married J.C. Arduser, a loving husband and friend. They especially enjoyed traveling together and playing golf. J.C. passed away in 2011.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Junior and J.C.; brother, Wayne; sister, Lucille and Leta and her beloved Pekingese, Ginger.
June leaves behind her sons, Ron (Chris) and Don (Debbie); step-daughter, Becky Moore (Robert); grandchildren, Ryan Williams (Johnna) of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Leslee Tefatiller (Stephen) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Amy Vaughan (Anthony) of Catoosa, Oklahoma, Becky Zink (Brian) and Kellie Harding (Jake) of Clinton, Missouri; three great grandchildren and many wonderful friends, especially her best friend, Peggy Burrow.
