Robert Dewain Williams was born June 6, 1953 to Virgil (Buck) and Joann Williams of Osceola, Missouri and was the oldest of 3 children.  He passed away September 16, 2015 at his home in Osceola, Missouri.  He grew up Kansas City, Missouri and attended Ruskin High School before graduating from Osceola High School in 1971. After graduating he built his home on the Williams family farm.

Robert worked in several fields; including Diesel Mechanics and concrete construction.  Robert and Buck proudly founded Williams Concrete Construction in 1979 and enjoyed working side by side for many years.  As they grew of age his sons soon followed as the 3rd generation, working in the family business.  Robert accepted Jesus Christ as his savior at a young age and later rededicated his life to the Lord in 2013. Being a ‘kid at heart’ he especially enjoyed the opportunity to invest in the lives of many  children other than his own.

Robert enjoyed spending time outdoors, whether it was hunting, fishing, riding horses or camping he’d sure to be wearin’ a smile. He enjoyed fast cars, music and loved dancing and could ‘cut a mean rug’. He enjoyed Rodeo, Team Penning, and trail riding, he especially enjoyed announcing during the Saddle Club Fun shows and the local chuck wagon races.  He enjoyed cooking and especially enjoyed frying fish for many events benefiting his friends or family.  Robert, his dad and his boys enjoyed league bowling for many years. He enjoyed weekly card playing with his folks and playing a competitive game of Mexican train dominoes with anyone that would challenge him. He loved attending church and weekly bible study and was very vocal about his salvation in Jesus Christ.

Robert was a member of Gerster Baptist Church, Riverside Cowboy Church, the Saddle Club of St. Clair County, St. Clair Masonic Lodge #273, 2nd Bat 3rd Marine – Honorary Member, and was proud to have founded and presided over the Southern Missouri Outlaw Saddle Club for many years.

Robert was preceded in death by several uncles, an aunt, and his grandparents.

Robert is survived by his parents, Virgil and Joann of Osceola, his children; Randy (Susan), Ashley (Jeremy), Sonya (Cody), Rodney (Britney), Quinton, and Maddie Jo, Grandchildren; Dakota Robert (Randy), Koel (Sonya), Kassidy (Ashley), and Creed (Sonya), Sisters; Vicky (Leroy), Sandy (Charlie), several nieces and nephews, cousins, and many many friends.
