Carolena Pearl Anderson was born November 22, 1936 in Harper Missouri to Cull and Myrtle (Harper) McLerran. She passed away September 18, 2022 at the age of 85.
Carolena graduated from Osceola High School in 1954, shortly after graduation she married the love of her life Elbert Ray Anderson June 16, 1956. They spent many years in Kansas City and retired to the country in 1988. Carolena loved to quilt, bowl, cook, participate in community events, and most importantly spend time with family.
Family was most important to her. She was a devoted grandparent to Christopher (Venessa), Lezile (Eric), Nicole (Jeff), Allyson, Jermey (Megan), Anthony, Samuel (Jessica), Cooper (Lacey), Baylea, great- grandchildren Mason (Hailey), Payton, Mallorie, J-Will, Jeffery Jr, Levi, Kailey, Hayden, Elvis, Lerren, Harper, Axel, Easton and great- great grandson Myles. No matter where in the world a family milestone took place, she was there, as a show of unwavering love and support.
She was preceded in death by her husband Elbert and her parents.
She is survived by her brother Dewey, her daughters Suzanette, Teresa, and sons Matthew and Troy. A loving grandma, 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and one great great grandson. She is also survived by many other family and loved ones.
