Wilma Josephine Atkins was born November 4, 1911 in Lowry City, MO. to Arthur and Jessie (Walters) Bray. She passed away January 12, 2010 at Truman Lake Manor, Lowry City, MO.
Wilma was united in marriage to Elmer Atkins on June 15, 1932 in Lowry City, MO. Elmer preceded her in death in 1965.
Wilma worked in the healthcare field and operated a restaurant in Deepwater for several years. She was a hardworking woman and loved to help others.
Wilma was a member of the Lowry City United Methodist Church. She enjoyed travel and was able to visit the Holy land. Wilma enjoyed singing very much.
Also preceding her in death was her son, Lester Atkins, who died in an automobile accident in 1954; four brothers, Wyatt Bray, in infancy, Everett Bray, Carl Bray and Alfred Bray; four sisters, Eula Holmes, Annis Shepherd, Jewell Greenwell and Nellie Cooper.
Wilma is survived by three sisters, Thelma Hubbard, Mildred Goans and Loretta Bray; three brothers, Harold Bray, Herbert Bray and Arnold Bray. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends
